Michelle Dermenjian has been providing psychological services for over 30 years. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario in Clinical, Counselling, School, and Organizational Psychology.

After graduating from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Alberta, Michelle joined Integrated Services for Northern Children. A multi-disciplinary team travelled and stayed, up to a week, in rural and remote communities in north-western Ontario, providing clinical services for children and families who otherwise could not access services. This was foundational to informing work that could be accomplished with families, local communities, cross-sector collaboration, and relationships built on trust.

Due to her passion for evidence-informing policy and practice at a systems level, she joined senior leadership at a multi-service agency for infants, children, adolescents, families, and adults with Developmental Disabilities in 2011. Later, as Director of Children’s Services, she was responsible for overseeing the leadership of Autism, Mental Health, Youth Justice and Early Intervention Services, including the Lead Agency for Child and Youth Mental Health. Michelle has returned to private practice as a Psychologist to continue working on behalf of individuals, families, or for the developmental, mental health and addiction system.
